Replica Movie Swords & Props   no comments

Some collect military swords while other prefers medieval swords, for my part i have been collecting Samurai swords for a long time, i have even bought a couple of Japanese war swords.

Until recently all my collection was based on Japanese weapons, all my swords are battle-ready and most of them are of the highest quality. I recently decided to develop a new branch in my Replica swords collection.

It all started by a visit at my friend’s house. This guy is the one who introduced me to sword collecting, this guy’s collection is really impressive, he’s got a lot of swords and i mean a lot. More than what is wife really wants..loll

Anyway when i got to his place he immediately said “you have to see this dude”, he then took me to his ”Collecting” room and i was shocked to see that my friend was also starting a new branch in his collection. I immediately turned to him and asked him since when did he start collecting medieval swords? He looked at me and said, Fred this is not a Medieval sword, this is the begining of my movie swords collection. The sword i was looking at was the Anduril the sword used by Aragorn in the Lord of The Ring Trilogy…

I must say that the sword was amazing, incredibly huge and of the highest quality ( for a 420 stainless steel blade)

So when i got back home i started to do some research on the various Lord of the Rings Swords… I knew that i was bound to find some cheap replica, but when i found out who is the official manufacturer for those swords (United Cutlery) i could see where my friend sword was coming from.

So i then started collecting LOTR Collectible Swords too. I can tell you that it’s a move i don’t regret…
